I'm reaching out to the group for advice after sustaining a back injury at work. I need a family doctor in my area but haven’t been able to find one within a reasonable distance. Traveling long distances is difficult due to my injury. Is there a convenient guide or resource for facilities that can assist with the necessary documentation without requiring a family doctor?

Since your injury is work-related, the responsible professional association (BG) is your first point of contact. The BG can not only help you with medical care, but also with the necessary documentation for your injury.
The responsibility of the BG depends on the branch of industry your company is in. To determine the BG responsible for you, you can contact the “German Statutory Accident Insurance” (DGUV) to find out which BG is responsible for your branch. Use the information on the DGUV website:
