What we can do, we do well

I remember when I was in primary school, most of the cobblers I knew had some sort of physical disability. Be it a slight limp, a short leg or just a bad hip. And amazingly they'd do some awesome work on our shoes. They took so much care and paid attention to detail. They had this great ideas with them. They were also kind and would never overcharge but I being one who rewards good work I didn't mind paying a little extra.

So seeing this while growing up, I was always of the idea that persons with disability needed such skills. Be it being a cobbler, carpentry, wood carving or any other form of artisan job. While it's true we can pursue more than just this, I find this as one of the remedies to helping reduce the number of persons with disability on the streets.

For when one has a given skill set, they can leverage on it. Maybe through this skill sets, companies that deal along such brands or works could take them in. This is in a bid to help them earn a decent living. I'd personally promote one of my own not because they're persons with disability, but because I've seen fine craftsmen good at what they do.

This is very true. Even Stephen Hawking said his disability limited his activities and so he concentrated on his research work. In the end Hawking became one of the best astrophysicists of all time often mentioned in the same sentence as Isaac Newton and other science legends. No wonder Big Bang Theory was such a hit😂

I thought it was my area only, that's true, they're actually the best in what they do. Such programmes can help them gain a decent livelihood and support themselves together with their families.
