Dr Gitau, a psychotherapist says the symptoms to look out for include: low interest in activities they normally enjoy, loss of appetite, easily getting tired or irritable or nervous.

@Faith_EnableMe@UDPK criminalising suicide has made the situation worse since it prevents victims who may be experiencing suicide thoughts from speaking out. Lukoye Atwoli has spoken against criminalising suicide because it becomes a different story from mental health and wellness to a story touching on the criminal justice system.
Suicide should be decriminalised and provide a safe space for those having such thoughts to speak out freely.
