@lucy mulombi This is a very good initiative. I would also propose that you guys go further and provide a solution to inaccessible handwashing stands(The most handwashing stands we have seen are not accessible to persons with disabilities).

There have been inquiries regarding accessible handwashing stands. This initiative can complement your soap-making venture.

Also, you could think around accessible Waste Disposal bins-The ones available to the public for water disposal(Masks, Tissue papers ) are not accessible. Some are difficult to operate(Requires you to step on it or use a lot of bodily strength)

With such an initiative / intervention, you not only respond to covid-19 as a preventative measures, but you also empower the persons with skills which if done well and with passion can turn out to be a very lucrative business, hence a source of income.

Commendable job👍️

About inaccessible waste disposal bins, it is a matter of key players in the advocacy area, to engage with the respective service provider for provision of accessible ones, such that we attain the call of LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND in the fight of the covid-19 pandemic.
