What role can disability-focused job fairs and career events play in connecting persons with disabilities to job opportunities?
Disability focused job fairs would be a good platform to sensitize employers on the need to diversify their workforce, while at the same time educating persons with disabilities on what is required of them to succeed at the workplace. We must never lose sight of what is required of us as employees with disability, in as much as we advocate for an inclusive environment in the workplace.
