This Ability Trust is looking for three new board members to help guide and oversee our work in the coming years.
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in Law and Governance, Finance and Audit, and Marketing and Sustainability. As a Trustee, you will be working in an unpaid voluntary position, but we will cover reasonable expenses.
As a member of the board, you will attend several Board and Committee meetings throughout the year. Generally, the Board participates in up to 4 meetings (half day to one full day). Board meetings are held at This Ability Trust hub in Thogoto, Kikuyu, and via teleconference (for up to 2 hours) from time to time. We expect that you will attend and participate in all the scheduled Board meetings and activities to represent This Ability Trust and other special meetings or attendance as necessary.
The term for the position is 3 years with the possibility of a renewal.
