Arthrodesis on the right leg - looking for like-minded people, tips and tricks

Hello dear community,

I have just registered here as I now unfortunately also have a disability. Maybe I'll start with some background:

I had an operation on my right knee a few years ago because of Osgood Schlatter's disease. Since then I had an infection in my right knee that was encapsulated. Last year I got out of my car and slipped, twisted my knee and was taken away by ambulance 3 days later because the pain was so severe and the knee was swelling more and more. An emergency operation was performed immediately. A few days later I had severe pain in my calf. It turned out that I had compartment syndrome, probably because of the infection. Since then I was operated on every 2 days until I later came down with sepsis. Then I was transferred to another clinic. I also had several operations there and it turned out that the following parts in my knee had suffered immense damage:

Both cruciate ligaments have been removed, as well as the menisci, cartilage and all the bursa. Outer ligaments are intact, as well as the patella+tendon. Since Christmas, I have been wearing a ring fixator (Ilizarov external fixator) because my knee unfortunately had to be stiffened. So much for the background and the story.

I have finally been at home since mid-January. Since January I've had care level 1 but only a disability level of 20 (appeal proceedings are already underway).

Does anyone also have a stiffened right leg and a few tips or tricks for me?

I have a lot of questions that unfortunately have not been answered yet. What about driving a car? Will I still be able to do this? Can I sit in buses, trains, planes or do I need special seats? What disability level did you get with a stiffened leg?

Questions upon questions, I think it's enough for now.
