~ A Generous Soul ~

Sometimes the pain wrenches through my soul.

As I hear the voice of others,

Will I survive?

Am I a burden?

Will I make a living for myself?

Do I deserve to love and care?

Unable to share my emotions with the world outside,

I hold my tears takes a toll.

I need to adapt to change my pace.

I slow down my life; I appreciate each day.

I scream up to the sky that I am also your creation.

I'm a generous soul, not a burden,

I'm rare, and it's through compassion my wounds heal.

I am a warrior; that is my role.
