Scarcity of persons with disability at the management level in organizations

How can we improve the representation of individuals with disabilities in leadership positions within companies and organizations?

I think job shadowing would help. Here, leaders in the organizations can mentor persons with disabilities and encourage them to take up positions even in the C-suite levels. This means accompanying the leaders to meetings and also involving them in decision making. Just like Kirubi mentored James Mworia to take up the leadership of Centumπ

That can really help, very few are on top to lobby for enactment of some laws

This can truly help. But I feel why we see less of persons with disability in management its because we are still yet to achieve the absorption percentage of 10%. With less numbers of us into the jobs it means it will feel like even less of us get to feature in the management ranks. I believe with time when our numbers have increased into jobs, we might get to see a change in this.
