What can employers do to attract persons with disabilities in their organizations?

Persons with disabilities are said to be dedicated at what they do whenever they get a job. Problem is, employers say they find it challenging to find employees with disabilities to diversify their labour force. What can be done to attract persons with disabilities to the decent jobs available?

I think most pwd shy off from applying for jobs in fear of discrimination at places of work amoung other things. Am quit excited how The Stanley Hotel has put up a shoe shinners stool at the entrance and given a young man with cp the opportunity to earn a living such a move will encourage both employers and pwd looking for a job.

Great question. I guess other than just saying or encouraging persons with disabilities to apply, they should highlight in what way are our provisions met. Because even though we encouraged to apply one can't help but wonder is there like a metric that would help the HR sort out for persons with disability? For most times I feel when they include the tag line " Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply," its just that they want to seem all inclusive. All talk but no action
