As a person's with physical disability, every now and then when one thinks of exercises the first advice we get is swimming. My first encounter with swimming was swimming needed use of the whole body for propulsion. But with my physical disability, my right leg being affected: being some inches shorter and having just a small angle movement at the knee, I thought it would be hard to swim. Interesting thing is, you don't need your feet to swim. You can swim with just your hands and with time the balance that's essentially possible due to the legs can also be learnt by use of your hands. And in most public swimming pools I know of in Kenya, if you a person with disability it's free of charge. You should try swimming.
