    United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) has partnered with the Mastercard Foundation in its global Scholars Program. This initiative will offer academically talented youth from Africa facing financial, gender, displacement, or disability constraints an opportunity to access world class university education.

    The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at USIU-Africa will provide full-cost scholarships to young Africans who are first-time undergraduate degree-seeking applicants. By completion of their studies, scholars will be required to lead changes in their communities and contribute to meaningful transformation across the continent, having been equipped with internationally recognized and locally applicable qualifications

    Eligibility:

    1. Youth not exceeding 29 years old in the following categories qualify:
      • Young women
      • Young men
      • Refugees and displaced youth
      • Youth with disabilities

    Note: Young women are strongly encouraged to apply.

    1. Scholars must demonstrate the following qualities:

    Founded in 2001, CFK Africa (formerly Carolina for Kibera) exists to improve public health and economic 

    prosperity in the informal settlements in Kenya. CFK combines service with responsible research to inform 

    and assist participatory development in other informal settlements globally

    About the Program:

    The Graduate Internship Program is a one-year program designed to provide guided work experience and 

    professional development to fresh university graduates in various disciplines.

    Job Description – Digital Strategy Officer

    Background

    Reports to: Executive Director

    JOB PURPOSE

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Digital Strategy Officer will fulfil an important role in

    the next stages of Dignitas’ growth. The role will entail design and implementation of online

    strategies that will help to build a strong organizational brand and profile that is representative

    of Dignitas’ growth and impact, and online engagement that leads to new opportunities for

    impact. Working closely with the Executive Director and the Senior Management Team, the

    successful individual will be responsible for Dignitas’ online presence, and the online business

    development of Dignitas’ LeadNow training and coaching toolkit.

    This is an ideal opportunity for an early to mid-career Communications or Marketing

    professional. The successful candidate will be a highly organized, driven, and focused individual

    who is passionate about education and community development. The successful candidate will

    be a keen learner, who handles tasks professionally and pro-actively, and has excellent

    communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

    Qualifications:

     Bachelor’s degree (Education, Marketing, Business, etc.)
